We want everyone to be able to use Forté Prizes, including people who use screen readers, keyboards or magnification.

What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
  • Text can be zoomed to 200% without losing content.
  • Images have text alternatives, and colour is never the only way information is shown.
  • Spot the Ball can be entered by typing X and Y coordinates as well as by tapping the picture.
  • The Skill Challenge can be ordered with buttons as well as by dragging.

Known limitations

The Spot the Ball picture can't be fully described in text, because describing the ball's likely position would change the competition. If you can't use the picture, you can still enter for free by post with coordinates, and we'll help you by email.
