Why we only accept adults
We follow the DCMS Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators, which says prize competitions should only be available to people aged 18 or over, with a reasonable age verification process, and that marketing must not target under-18s.
How we check your age
- When you arrive: you enter your date of birth and confirm you are 18 or over.
- When you create an account: we run an electronic age and identity check through [age-verification provider] against public records. This does not affect your credit score.
- At checkout: you confirm your date of birth again before every order.
- Before a prize is awarded: the winner must provide photo ID and proof of address.
If someone under 18 enters
Any entry made by someone under 18 is void and cannot win. We close the account and refund the money paid to the original payment method. If you think a child has used your card, contact us at straight away.
Parents and carers can block gambling and competition sites with parental controls on phones, computers and home broadband.
